Description
The aim of the project is to develop and experimentally validate a system using machine learning methods to predict short-term electricity and heat consumption in academic buildings.
The research will use historical energy consumption data, weather conditions, building characteristics, and occupancy patterns. The developed models will be compared in terms of prediction accuracy and robustness under changing operating conditions.
The main outcome of the project will be a predictive model and a prototype decision-support system for energy management. The research results may contribute to the development of more efficient energy management strategies for public buildings.
